Frequently Asked Questions

Is a wedding video right for me?

Not every couple needs a wedding video. That said, multiple studies have shown over 90% of couples who forgo a professional videographer usually regret it. Video captures sound and movement, something photos cannot. If you’d like to remember wedding vows, dancing, loved ones’ voices, or a video just seems fun, a wedding video might be right for you!

Do you have a second shooter?

I don’t use associates, which means I will be capturing your day personally. I normally shoot alone, but offer second shooter coverage for $700. The second shooter would help capture everything from pre-ceremony to spotlight events during the reception!

How does drone coverage work?

Normally the first thing I do when I arrive is gather drone footage of your wedding venue or surrounding location (weather, venue and timeline permitting). It takes me about half an hour. Sometimes I do this later in the day. I believe it visually elevates your video. I don’t capture posed drone shots with the couple unless we have extra time.

Do you travel? How much does it cost?

Yes I do! For destination weddings I charge for my plane ticket, lodging, and $50 a day for meals. I request at least 2 nights lodging (the night before the wedding and the night of), and recommend booking me at the same place as the bride and groom! I also recommend an extra night for international weddings in case of plane delays.

What is your turnaround?

Your contract guarantees your videos will be online for review within 2 months from the wedding date. However, they are usually ready in just a few weeks!
